Mumbai Based sound rental company Rane Brothers Sound System have recently made a substantial investment in a Meyer Sound LEOPARD line array with 900-LFC low frequency control elements. The purchase was handled through Sun Infonet Pvt. Ltd.
Specialists in classical concerts, Rane Brothers Sound System have been synonymous for providing pristene audio solutions for corporate events, televised shows and live concerts for the last 30 years, all across India
Prashant Rane, Sound Engineer & Owner of Rane Brothers was looking to upgrade their line-array inventory and was in search for a high quality, powerful & scalable system that could cater to both their indoor and open-air events.
Mr. Prashant said, “Due to the increase in demand for the latest equipment for classical shows, we were looking for a system that could deliver the best quality of sound, so that the listeners could enjoy listening to the singer along with the music created by the musicians through traditional acoustic instruments like, flute, Sitar, Sarod, Tabla, Mridangam, etc.We had listening tests of many different brands, no doubt each of them had their own unique features, but finally,we chose to invest in Meyer Sound”
“The major reasons behind choosing Meyer Sound is their reliability, easy to use technology and the linear sound they deliver. An added benefit is the global reputation that the Meyer Sound brand commands and after adding this system to our inventory, I am more confident that we will be able to exceed the expectations of our customers”
Rane Brothers first deployed their new LEOPARD system for a corporate classical-fusion concert by Santoor maestro Rahul Sharma & his band in Mumbai, which was attended by around 1000 Indian and International delegates. Prashant was very impressed with the system’s “Native Mode” where no external processing is required thereby saving setup time along with the wide coverage of the LEOPARD system.
Rane Brothers have many classical shows lined up for the coming weeks and they have already planned to deploy their Meyer Sound system in every show. “In classical concerts, sound quality in terms of clarity and intelligibility play a major role and I believe that only Meyer Sound can deliver.”
