Recently Shure India in association with Sun Infonet conducted two days “Masterclass on Microphone Technology, Sound and Wireless Systems” in Kohima, Nagaland. The MasterClass was led by Fali Damania, Market Development Manager, Shure India and Kallol Nath, Sr. Application Engineer, Sun Infonet Private Limited.

Organised by Task Force for Music and Arts “TaFMA”, this Masterclass attended by participants from Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya in huge numbers at RCEMPA, Kohima.

Under the vision, guidance, and support of the Chief Minister the government of Nagaland will be establishing a new center of excellence for the music and art fraternity in the state of the state capital.


While addressing to the participants, Advisor to Chief Minister, Mr. Abu Metha asked Participants to learn as much as possible from the Masterclass. He also commented that Masterclass is not just a commercial initiative but a contribution towards the nation-building process.

During this event, Five Artists from Nagaland namely Alobo Naga, Singer and Song Writer, Tetseo Sisters, Folk Singers, Abdon Mech, Singer and Song Writer, David Sunar, Drummer, Imnainla Jamir, Guitarist were also chosen and declared as Brand Ambassador of Shure by Mr. Theja Meru, Advisor to TaFMA during MasterClass.

On this selection and endorsement, Mr. Abu Metha termed as “fantastic company”. He also expressed that this partnership will yield positive dividends for this artist. Wishing them the best, he also urged them to carry the name of the Nagaland and India to all corners of the globe. For Shure he said, was a brand that we all grew up with and have been using its assured quality and various products. He further told them to understand the magnitude of the partnership, while putting across that Shure is a brand that is global and established, and American Company is coming here is a big thing.
